About Me

Gil Katz-Goldstein, M.A, LMFT – (CA Lic # 97598)

As a licensed psychotherapist, I have dedicated my practice to helping children, adolescents, adults, couples & families strengthen their relationships with themselves and each other.

My expertise is based on years of experience as a school counselor with children facing behavioral, emotional, and social challenges. I’ve also worked as a clinician at a non-profit organization working with children & families with a wide range of issues.

I spent time as a program supervisor in a pediatric unit in an organization specializing in services for autistic children and their families.

I am so passionate about spending my days helping people regain balance and learning effective coping skills to handle the stresses of everyday life as well as life changing events. I bring with me not only my professional experience, but also a genuine curiosity about who my clients have become.

The best thing about doing what I love, is having the privilege to help someone overcome obstacles, transform his or her life, and live an authentic lifestyle.

Through my educational, professional, and personal life experiences, I have been fortunate enough to have had such a diverse and transformative experience, in which I can draw from every day.

I have been exposed to and have developed a deep respect for the human experience and the various journeys of life.
